The company Terriomax Holdings will invest 1.2 billion dollars in developing the resort Punta Alma projecting lift on the left bank of the Bay of Luperon, which generate more than four thousand direct jobs.

The information provided the project manager, the employer Lenin Fernandez, who said that the project will create the stable and strong economy in this county, in which Christopher Columbus founded in late 1493 La Isabela, First Villa erected in America. Fernandez revealed that each village will occupy a site with a minimum of 4 thousand square meters and preserve the environment for visitors to enjoy the nature of space will be built soon this resort that will have the highest standard of quality of Dominican Republic. He noted the quality of Punta Alma will be so high, which may compete with the best tourist projects in Mexico, Costa Esmeralda, Europe, Australia, the Maldivian islands and other areas of the world, with a beautiful nature.

The executive director of Punta Alma conditioned the construction of this project to the Environment, Tourism and other agencies of State granted permission to the company Isabela Cement and Aggregates to build cement in the northeast where it lifted the resort valued at 1.2 billion dollars. PUERTO PLATA. Con una inversión global de 2,400 millones de dólares, la empresa Terriomax Holding, de capital norteamericano, se propone iniciar los trabajos en el desarrollo del complejo turístico "Punta Alma", que proyecta construir en la margen izquierda de la bahía de Luperón.

Este proyecto turístico, según los inversionistas estadounidenses, a través del director ejecutivo del mismo, Lenín Fernández, quien sirvió de intérprete, generará en la zona más de cuatro mil empleos directos y alrededor de 20 mil de manera indirecta.

Fernández reveló que el proyecto creará una economía estable y fuerte en este municipio.

Dijo que el complejo turístico se construirá en un área de nueve millones de metros cuadrados; es decir en unas 9 mil tareas.

Allí se levantarán más de 700 villas y diversos hoteles que en total albergarán más de 2,500 habitaciones. Esos centros turísticos estarán dotados de un moderno campo de golf de calidad internacional, que contarán con 18 hoyos, nueve de los cuales estarán frente al Océano Atlántico

Fernández informó que los terrenos para la construcción del ambicioso completo turístico-hotelero fueron adquiridos en compra a los sucesores del fenecido hacendado Omar Bross y al ganadero-terrateniente Félix Vásquez, por la suma de US$80.0 millones.

El ejecutivo de la empresa Terriomax Holding informó a Hoy que ya se obtuvo la licencia ambiental, y sólo se espera que la Secretaría de Turismo conceda el permiso de construcción y otorgue las exenciones que la ley 158 concede a este tipo de proyecto.

Indicó que el enclave turístico contará con una marina con capacidad para 200 super yates de lujo de hasta 250 metros de eslora, la cual se construirá en la margen izquierda de la bahía de Luperón, considerada como la tercera más segura de todo el Caribe.

Fernández, quien ofreció sus declaraciones en el hotel Casa Colonial, del complejo hotelero de Playa Dorada, en presencia del gobernador de esta provincia, licenciado César José de los Santos, dijo que el complejo turístico "Punta Alma" también tendrá una cancha para la práctica de polo, un centro ecuestre, varios clubes de playa y un spa de destinación.

Manifestó que se construirá un hospital que contará con los servicios de especialistas dominicanos y norteamericanos, una generadora eléctrica, planta de tratamiento de aguas residuales y más de 50 negocios en distintas áreas. Además, servicio de cable, teléfono, Internet y de otras áreas.

Fernández explicó que cada villa ocupará un solar con un mínimo de 4 mil metros cuadrados y se preservará el entorno para que los visitantes disfruten de la naturaleza del espacio, donde se construirá próximamente este complejo turístico que tendrá el más alto estándar de calidad de República Dominicana. Señaló que el nivel de calidad de "Punta Alma" será tan elevado, que podrá competir con los mejores proyectos turísticos de Méjico, Costa Esmeralda, Europa, Australia, Islas de Maldivia y otras áreas del mundo.
