| 1985 Hallberg-Rassy 38 Luxury Edition Yacht ~ Only Equipped for Round the World Cruise! |

1985 Hallberg Rassy 38 ~ Luxury Edition... There was a grand total of 210 Hallberg-Rassy 38 hulls constructed during the period from 1977 to 1986. The Hallberg-Rassy 38 is built for pleasant sailing and a comfortable life on board. This thoroughbred cruiser design is a well built yacht and designed for the recreation of your family and friends. The interior is very well laid out. She has the volume and displacement to carry everything that a fair sized crew needs to bring for long passages at sea, including plenty of stowage for stores and personal belongings as well as a large fresh water capacity. The high freeboard and low superstructure design gives you good volume below and a large and comfortable deck space above. Have some questions... CONTACT US TODAY
Olle Enderlein has designed this fine yacht... She is perfectly balanced under all conditions. With a long keel and separate skeg and rudder, he has combined the traditional long keel and the modern fin keel types. The hull is in solid fiberglass. The Hallberg-Rassy 38 is built at a yard dedicated to building high quality cruising sailboats. She is built by men with generations of boat building in their blood and who have long lived with the sea on the Swedish west coast. All of the yachts are a masterpiece in mahogany and teak. The finish is the trademark of traditional craftsmanship. Have some additional questions? CONTACT US TODAY

The owner had lots of additional equipment... installed to prepare this yacht for cruising around the world. He has documented additions at a cost of over $150,000 US dollars and everything has been done at professional and well recognised boat yards. Everything has been professionally installed and the best of equipment was purchased. All of the sail halyards are doubled up for safety at sea. Another big plus for this yacht is that the VAT has been paid! Any of my many European Union clients who have an interest in the fine Hallberg-Rassy yacht will be happy to hear about that tax being paid already. The main sail is furled in the mast with ease using an electric winch. There are two main sails. The jib is also roller furling and there are two jibs included. There are many extras and spare parts aboard. This yacht is extremely well found.
Volvo Penta Marine Diesel... Engines have an excellent reputation world wide as strong and dependable and are installed as standard equipment in the Hallberg-Rassy yachts. This Volvo Penta is a Model MD-21-B and it starts and runs perfectly. Good reliable propulsion for your yacht for many years to come. The owner has had a folding propeller installed for less drag while sailing. On board is the fixed blade propeller as a spare in case of an emergency. Shaft is of stainless steel. This engine is started and run regularly.
The owner has on board... many spares and extras such as alternator belts and filters for this Volvo Penta Marine Diesel. This engine is extremely popular as a marine engine and Volvo Penta parts are available worldwide. Notice how neat and clean this engine compartment is. This owner is extremely fussy and very meticulous with his maintenance of this yacht. Not only the engine compartment looks like this but the complete yacht is kept in this immaculate condition! You can be proud of this yacht.
In one of her many photos... you can clearly see her Volvo Penta engine and the diesel fired cabin heater. Here in the tropics this cabin heater does not get much use but don't forget, this yacht was designed and built in Sweden and in Sweden there are times when you really appreciate a good strong cabin heater! This is just one of the many little extras that you will find already installed on this fine yacht. No work for you to do here, Captain! If you have some additional questions that need answering please Send me a note and I will be happy to be of service!
