One part of her extensive refit was the removal of her teak decks and the professional replacement with fiberglass which was topped off with three coats of Awl Grip non skid. A word about mechanical systems... This yacht’s twin 120 horsepower Ford Lehman diesel engines with 4500 hours are in good running condition. There are no signs of fuel or oil leaks. All hoses are double clamped with stainless steel. Fuel tanks with shut-off valves at tanks are in good condition. There are four 200 gallon steel diesel tanks. At around eight knots cruising speed one can expect a cruising range of about 2,000 miles at three gallons of fuel per hour. Tanks were thoroughly inspected at the time of her survey and showed no sign of any leaks due to damage, rust or corrosion. This vessel has a new fuel polishing system and all new exhaust and sanitary hoses. A new 400 gallon per day watermaker by SK Engineering has been installed ~ model number DBSC400. She has five new rule 1500 G.P.H. bilge pumps with automatic switches, all working. Vessel's exhausts are in good condition. The hydraulic steering is in good condition. All thermo plastic wiring is in good condition and up to A.B.Y.C. standards. The distribution panel is in good condition. All new gauges for both engines and generators. There are three smoke detection alarms in living areas. There is a new liquid recovery system on both engines. There is a new high water alarm system. New rudder angle indicator. The new 8.5 K.W. Phasor generator has only 600 hours of use. Overall, all of the mechanics of this vessel are in good working condition. Some notes regarding the 2006 refitting... This vessel was in dry-dock at Huckins Marine and Boatyard located on the Ortega River in Jacksonville, Florida for six months. During that time. Miss Teak underwent an extensive retrofit. All teak decks were removed. The decks were re-glassed and painted with three coats of awlgrip non-skid. All exterior equipment and hardware was removed and any wood or fiberglass found damaged was replaced. The superstructure from the waterline up was prepared, primed with awlgrip 545 epoxy primer, and three coats of awlgrip topcoat were applied. All hardware was bedded and replaced. The thru hull fittings, stuffing boxes, shafts, props and rudders were thoroughly inspected and new zincs were installed. Six coats of ablative bottom paint were applied. The Onan 7.5 KW generator was removed and a new Phasor 8.5 KW generator was installed. A 300 watt solar system controlled by a Pro-Star controller and a Rutland 9 3 wind generator were added to the battery charging system. Complete mechanical, electrical, electronic and structural inspections were made and upgrades were made as necessary. A new sun awning was added to the aft deck.

Some notes from the Surveyor..." This vessel is of molded fiberglass reinforced with polyester resin. Decks are fiberglass over 1” core and finished with non-skid. Keel is molded in hull. Flybridge is of fiberglass. Bulkheads are of plywood covered with fiberglass. This vessel hull is in excellent condition, inside and out. Vessel has a Naiad hydraulic stabilization system on bottom. There has been a new Vetus 210 lb. bow thruster with controls installed. All new zincs installed. There were 6 coats of new bottom paint applied. All cutlass bearings good. All thru-hulls of bronze are in good condition. Vessel's awlgrip paint is new. Vessel has a beautiful custom made teak hard-top. Vessel has all new upholstery thru-out. There are all new lighting fixtures. There are new 2 inch stainless steel supports for hard-top. Overall, this vessel's hull is in very good condition.
