This Beneteau Oceanis 500 Sloop has four staterooms and each with their own private head. She also has an "EXTRA" cabin forward for her captain and mate if you have a full charter. Her engine is one of the excellent Perkins 4-236 units that run forever. Her owner was changing the engine water pump the day that I arrived to take photos and he was replacing that unit because of a small drip! This yacht appears to have been well maintained.

Included with the sale is a new ~ 2007 ~ Caribe dinghy and a new Mercury 9.9 hp outboard motor purchased at the same time as the dinghy. They both look like brand new items. She has an autopilot.

Her sails are all in good condition. Included are two mainsails and two foresails. All of the rigging is solid stainless steel rod in very good condition and all of her running rigging looks to be brand new. This yacht sports an "In-the-Mast" furling main and a roller furling genoa. She has been rigged for single handed sailing. All of her winches are well maintained and her teak decks are in pretty good condition. There is some interior varnish that needs to be done and the yacht needs some cleaning. At the price she is being sold for a little bit of work will be well worth your efforts!

Her cockpit is huge with two helms. One compass is new and the other needs to be replaced by a new owner. There is safety equipment on the yacht for ten people. A brand new wind generator was installed in 2007 and works fine. There is a sun awning over the cockpit as well as a fold up cockpit table. For anchoring there is an electric anchor winch.
