The very best from Allied Yachts... This yacht must be seen to be truly appreciated. The complete refurbishing of Hellenbac took nearly two years but it was very thorough! Completely re-wired throughout to comply with ALL requirements. Nothing but the best of equipment, materials and workmanship. Perfectly maintained on an ongoing basis. During her refurbishing the bottom was stripped and layered up with fiberglas and resin. It was then barrier coated and bottom painted with three coats of antifouling paint. Sails and rigging were all NEW from Morgan in 2003. Everything was completed in a very professional manner by professional tradesmen. This yacht has seen very little use since 2003 and is in extremely good condition. The Perkins 4-108 four cylinder marine diesel engine has been completely overhauled by a fully qualified marine diesel specialist. It starts and runs perfectly. Make her yours! Truly affordable comfort and real luxury... The center cockpit design is the ultimate in comfort and safety for you and your family. The aft cabin has access from the cockpit as well as a walk through below decks from the main cabin. Her extensive two year refurbishing also included a brand new Edson pedestal and wheel steering assembly. Excellent all around vision from this cockpit. I have always personally enjoyed the security of a center cockpit myself and I also enjoy the way it separates the yacht into two private areas. Great for the family with the children quartered forward and the Captain aft. Both areas are with their own washroom facilities. The compass is mounted directly in front of the helmsman and a convenient drink holder is just forward of the pedestal steering. The engine controls are handy as well. She is a tremendous seaworthy blue water yacht. And she is beautiful as well. Have some additional questions? Contact Us Today! OR Make your own offer here!

From the factory brochure... Hull construction is of hand layed-up fiberglass and employing full length layers of woven roving and mat. Each layer is cut specifically for its location in the mold before lay-up. Hull color is molded in gel-coat. Internal ballast is first quality lead, glassed into the hull cavity and sealed over with layers of matt and woven roving. The rudder is layed up around a 1-1/2" bronze rudder shaft. The rudder shaft is seated in a 32 pound bronze heel casting in the trailing edge of the keel. Bronze thru-hull fittings are used on all underwater thru-hulls. Hull has recessed vove stripe. The deck, cockpit and cabin are reinforced hand lay-up fiberglass with end cut balsa core sandwich construction in all walking areas affording additional stiffness and insulation. Non-skid pattern is molded into the deck, cockpit and cabin top. The deck features molded toe rails, two dorade boxes with cowl vents and storm cover over the main hatch. The ten foot cockpit has port and starboard sail lockers, raised helmsman seat, bridge deck, coaming all around and large winches. The engine vents are self draining and located port and starboard aft of the cockpit. She is ready to explore the Caribbean with you and your family. This fine yacht will take you where you want to go! Make your offer here!

By the Allied Mistress designer, Arthur Edmunds, Jr. in 1972... The Allied Boat Company's Mistress 39 is obviously aimed at the cruising yachtsman who wants more comfort, privacy and docility than the currently popular fin keel / spade rudder racing machine offers. Her long keel, shallow draft and 700 square foot ketch rig should make her an easily driven, easily handled vessel with good potential for is cruising. Sail area can be reduced quickly and drastically by dropping the main and running under working jib and mizzen, thus reducing crew requirements. Her accomodations have been arranged with an eye towards both comfort and privacy. Her owner's cabin is located aft and is fitted with an enclosed head and shower, a large hanging locker and a built in dresser. Forward, a second large cabin accomodates two and is equipped in a similar manner. The midship cabin houses the galley and a convertible dinette sleeps two. A cleverly conceived passageway, under the starboard cockpit seat, connects the owner's cabin and the midship cabin and is fitted with a chart table, workbench and oilskin locker. Well summed up by the designer of this fine yacht. Spoil yourself... Treat yourself and your family... Take that family cruise you always dreamed about! Make your offer here!

Just to sum things up... This fine Allied Mistress 39 is not just your average Allied Mistress! She has been given a tremendous amount of love and attention and was completely refurbished over a two year period of time bringing her to her present condition. I have a survey available for this yacht and, although it is not a new survey, it is fairly recent (May 29, 2003). There are certain circumstances dictating the sale of this fine yacht or otherwise she would not even be on the market. Great opportunity to purchase her now and go cruising! There is very little work to do aboard this fine yacht before setting out on your dream cruise. She is perfect for a family wanting to simply cruise in the Caribbean Sea or the whole world if you so desire. If you and your family are truly serious about cruising then you owe it to yourself to visit us and inspect this fine yacht. Luperon Bay in the Dominican Republic is a short flight from where you are located. We are located just to the west of the Puerto Plata (POP) International Airport. Questions? Contact Us Today!
